    Students will participate in team building activities, be provided with an overview of the school, and learn what campus life is like in the den of the tigers!

    Parent and Students will have a chance to meet 6th grade teachers and learn about the opportunities available at Sanders Middle School.

    Sanders Tigers will be welcomed back to a day filled with fun and information provided by local community vendors and school resources. Admission is free and opened to all Sanders students.

    From the Principal

    I take great pride in being the principal of W. G. Sanders Middle School because of the wonderful staff, students and parents. I continue to be amazed with the rich history of traditions that help prepare students for a successful career in high school. This year we are implementing a wide variety of developmentally appropriate strategies in facilitating the learning for our students. Teachers continue to infuse technology into student lessons, and teachers continue to provide a challenging curriculum for our students. Stop by our parent and community center to find ways in which you can support our community initiatives. Also, take a look at our mission statement, our beliefs and our action plans. Give us feedback as we continue to monitor and enhance our instructional program. I look forward to working with all of you.
